Henry Ford’s Wealthy Mindset
I have great admiration for Henry Ford and his accomplishments. There’s no arguing that he was a visionary leader, but what I admire most about Ford was his mindset.
I can’t find the exact quote (please let me know what it is if you know it), but essentially Ford said that if he lost everything, all of his wealth and his businesses, it would be okay because he knew exactly how to build it back again. To me, that statement exemplifies the achievement of financial freedom. When you know that everything can be taken away from you and there is no panic at the idea, you have it all figured out.
Ford knew that between the personal connections he had, his financial intellect and the ability to create value, it would be nearly impossible for him to not be wealthy. But it wasn’t just that. As I was trying to dig up the quote about Ford losing everything and building it back up, I realized he really had a unique outlook and philosophy on life. Here are just a few quotes from Ford that caught my attention:

I ever told something like that. Wen you have nothing to loose it is the best time for make impossible things.
I believe that the best way to have a good money habit is to regard your money and even your personal money as part of the asset of the business that you intend to put or conceptualize. In that way you put the right perspective towards your money. You will not squander it nor indulge in instant gratification. I think that is how the millionaires started their money abundance in life.
I believe the exact quote was: I’d get up tomorrow morning and start over.
Attitude is the beginning of believing, dig into that rich attitude and focus on wealth factors and the building of wealth begins to build.
